Richmond Jets U9C4 Hornets Participate in Canucks Mini Minor Program
On Feb 19, 2022, after a long hiatus, Canucks fans finally returned to Rogers Arena at full capacity. The atmosphere was electric, in anticipation of a critical divisional matchup, and spectators were treated to a dazzling display of hockey – by the Richmond Jets U9C4 Hornets during intermission as part of the Canucks Mini Minor Program.
The kids have been training hard all year, and put on a show with their blazing speed, precision passing, blistering shots, tenacious checking, and spectacular goaltending, completely unfazed by pressure of playing on the big stage, and persevering through the unsportsmanlike antics and questionable officiating by Fin the mascot.
