Dave Sanghera

Director - Election

The Richmond Jets community became part of my journey these past 8 years because of my children's passion to play hockey. This was encouraged by their grandmother who was an adoring fan of the Vancouver Canucks.  In ensuring their success, I dedicated my time as an involved parent by assisting the coaches and motivating the players.
Working with coaches and players is very rewarding.  This enthusiasm has been carried over to the Richmond Lacrosse Association as my family commits wholeheartedly to this like they do hockey.  Despite which sport it is, supporting all our athletes to persevere and excel to the best of their abilities is enriching in every aspect.
Being on the board of directors, I look forward to working collaboratively with all members of this organization. Mentoring and inspiring our younger generations to embrace a love of hockey while empowering them with skills and discipline lends itself it to well-rounded individuals.  Richmond Jets provides the stability and expertise to this cause.
As quoted by Bobby Orr:
“The biggest thing we get out of it is seeing the kids smile. And hopefully, we will also see that the lessons we’re teaching – not only the fundamentals of hockey but also the life values – are sinking in.”
