2025/2026 Goalie Development Program
The Richmond Jets support the development of our goalies of all ages.
Our goalie skills development program is run by Pro-Formance Goalie School U7 to U18 Divisions.
The program includes:
U11- U18
- 10 group skill sessions for each age between
- In practice training with a goalie coach
- 6 sessions per team for Rep level goalies
- 3 sessions per team for C level goalies
U9 Division:
- 10 group skill sessions
U7 Division:
- 2 group skill sessions
Regular Opt-In Goalie Training Program:
Pro-Formance Goalie School will be running the Jets Friday evening Opt-In Goalie program. This program allows goalies who seek extra development to get back on the ice weekly in a competitive environment. These sessions will be user pay and will be paid for in a package, we won’t be facilitating “drop-in sessions” for this program.

Jets Try Goalie Training Program:
This program is designed to recruit new goalies; and to promote goalie position in hockey. Open for all ages, highly recommended for U9 and below players. It will run regularly; instructed by professional goalie skill providers. Opportunities for goalie volunteers to help on the ice and off ice.
Jets Try Goalie Event: Sunday August 10th, 2025

Come out to our Try Goalie Event and see your goalie potential!
This is an opportunity for players ages 7+ to learn some fundamental goalie skills and see
their potential.
- Players - attend free goalie skill session with our RJMHA goalie providers.
Date: Sunday August 10th, 2025
Time: 4:00 - 5:15pm
Cost: $25-dollar refundable deposit. Refunded after attendance.
Location: Richmond Ice Center – Forum Rink
New goalies only. Current Goalies are NOT eligible
Prerequisites: Must be able to skate and stop.
Goalie equipment will be provided.
IMPORTANT: Current players, please bring your own skates, helmet and jock/jill

Richmond Jets Minor Hockey Association
As one of the largest minor hockey associations in British Columbia, the Richmond Jets Minor Hockey Association offers an integrated (boys and girls) minor hockey program from Initiation to Juvenile. Featuring both recreational ("C") and competitive ("A") streams, our programs operate out of the three different facilities in the City of Richmond: Richmond Ice Centre (RIC), Minoru Arenas (Stadium and Silver Rinks), Richmond Oval (North and South rinks).
